Sales & Operations Assistant

R6,000 - R10,000 per month (based on experience)
Commission available for new business referrals

About the Role

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Sales & Operations Assistant to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. This is a hybrid role combining sales responsibilities with general operations, admin, deliveries, and stock handling.

You'll be visiting customers, assisting with daily tasks, and supporting the team wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Visit customers to build relationships and promote products

Follow up on quotes, orders, and collections Perform driving duties for deliveries and customer visits Assist with quotes, invoices, and general admin Help with stock control, packing, and warehouse work Provide all-round support across the business
Must be able to lift heavy products.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 2 years of recent work experience Valid driver's license Must live in Pietermaritzburg and have reliable transport Good communication skills and professional manner with customers and suppliers Able to multitask, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities Comfortable in both office and warehouse environments Basic computer skills (Excel, Email, Sespro and Arch) Experience in sales or small business operations is a strong advantage English essential; isiZulu or Afrikaans is an advantage
