Job Description
Duties:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing programs for the property (all aspects of the Resort)
- Market products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
- Complete marketing plan for each product
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts
- Preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives
- Maintaining promotional materials
- Traditional marketing
- Social media
- Planning and organizing promotional presentations
- Must be focused on generating leads and traffic to:
- Websites
- Direct enquiries
- Email correspondence
- Monitor and provide feedback on sales and marketing campaigns
- Manage and optimize website
- Database management
- Ensure websites are regularly updated and managed
- Attend trade and travel shows to promote the propertys event business
- Work with creative agency on all relevant designs and planning
- Weekly / monthly newsletters
- Public relations
- Updating calendars
- Marketing of any events hosted at the property
- Prepares Marketing Reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
- Promoting of Memberships and facilities on offer

Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing, or applicable Qualification in Hospitality & Tourism, is advantageous (big plus)
- Must have at least 3 years previous relevant sales experience:
- MICE
- B2C
- Must be computer literate, and proficient in MS Office
- Experience in Opera, or any property management system, is advantageous
