Job Description

Financial Accountability:
Achieve regional product sales targets and financial objectives
Manage promotional, entertainment, and other spending within set regional parameters.
Strategic Accountability:
Co-develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve targets.
Deploy efficient service models, control the cost of sales.
Grow the active merchant portfolio in line with targets set by the National Sales Manager.
Oversee credit champion performance and ensure effective placement and management.
Functional Accountability:
Provide market coverage and drive sales within the region.
Manage sales activities to meet qualitative and quantitative metrics established by the National Sales Manager.
Lead and develop credit champions and oversee the activities and outputs of Credit Champions.
Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
Recruit, train, and develop Credit Champions.
Ensure regulatory and operational compliance across regional activities.
Expand the active merchant base and sign up new merchants according to targets.
Sales diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification preferred. * Drivers License essential
Basic Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in sales management, preferably within a similar industry.
Experience in managing a sales team and achieving sales targets.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
Experience in relationship management with clients and stakeholders.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in sales operations.
Familiarity with CRM systems and BI reporting tools.
Ability to interpret charts and present statistical data effectively.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Strategic problem-solving and critical thinking.
Expertise in optimizing sales processes and strategies.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
Knowledge of CRM systems.
Ability to interpret BI reports and charts.
Competence in presenting statistical data to diverse audiences.
