About the Role
As the Sales Manager, you will oversee a dynamic outbound sales team, drive sales strategies, optimise performance, and ensure exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate understands financial services, thrives in a fast?paced environment, and knows how to develop teams to peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and mentor a high?performing outbound sales team
Drive sales targets and manage performance dashboards
Develop and execute outbound sales strategies aligned with business goals
Analyse sales and credit performance data to improve conversions
Ensure compliance with the National Credit Act (NCA) and debt review regulations
Manage key client relationships and identify new business opportunities
Set KPIs, track performance, and conduct individual and team performance reviews
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and compliance teams to strengthen sales execution
Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline oversight, and performance reporting
Promote a customer?centric culture and ensure exceptional service delivery
Oversee administrative processes, quality assurance, and compliance documentation
What You'll Need to Succeed
Grade 12 (Matric) - essential
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field - advantageous
3 - 5 years' sales management experience, preferably in: outbound call centres, financial services, debt review, credit solutions, insurance, or collections
Strong understanding of the NCA and regulated financial services
Proven ability to lead teams and consistently meet/exceed sales targets
Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills
Strong analytical mindset with reporting, forecasting, and Excel proficiency
Tech?savvy with experience in CRM systems, call centre software, and MS Office
Ability to perform in a fast?paced, high?pressure, target?driven environment
