Sales Manager – Power Generation & Energy Solutions (JB5789)

R700 000 – R800 000 CTC per annum
Join an international power generation solutions provider expanding across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in power generation / energy sales
Strong technical and commercial sales expertise
Established industry network
Relevant sales, management, engineering, or business qualification
Own vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel
Drive market entry, revenue growth, and brand presence across multiple industries
Focus on generator sets and customised power solutions
Develop and implement a national sales strategy aligned with global objectives
Identify, pursue, and close new public and private sector opportunities
Establish, manage, and grow distributor, reseller, and representative channels
Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, EPCs, and integrators
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
Conduct technical and commercial site visits and solution presentations
Prepare and negotiate sales proposals with senior stakeholders
Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline reporting, forecasting, and sales metrics
Monitor market trends, competitors, and generate actionable insights
Work closely with engineering, logistics, after-sales, and international teams
Recruit, manage, and lead the sales team as the operation scales
