The Sales Engineer within our Energy Storage OEM is pivotal in combining technical expertise and sales acumen. This position focuses on providing technical solutions, supporting the sales team, and engaging with clients to promote and sell energy storage products and services. The sales engineer bridges the technical aspects of our offerings and the customers' needs, ensuring alignment and satisfaction. Reporting to the General Manager- Sales and Marketing Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise and Solution Provision Possess in-depth knowledge of energy storage products, systems, and their applications. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions that address their needs. Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits to potential clients. Sales Support and Client Engagement Assist the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, providing technical guidance during the sales process. Engage with customers to understand their technical inquiries, providing pre-sales and post-sales support. Build and maintain strong client relationships as a technical liaison throughout the customer journey. Solution Customization and Development Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to customise solutions based on client specifications. Provide feedback from customer interactions to contribute to the enhancement of existing products or the development of new offerings. Technical Documentation and Communication Prepare technical proposals and documentation required for sales processes. Communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding. Essential Requirements
