Great opportunity for an experienced Salesperson with exposure to the meat sector AND a qualification in either Mechanical Engineering /Food Engineering. 5 10 years working experience in business development in industrial food manufacturing. Great communication skills (in English & Afrikaans), self-driven & highly presentable. SA citizen, DL & own transport, willingness to travel (local & international).

DETAILS

A large company specialising in food ingredient/spice production and mechanical processing equipment manufacturing is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with industry experience, enthusiasm, and a drive for success. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new & existing business relationships, identifying potential growth opportunities & developing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. The role entails travel to various locations, engaging with clients, providing technical support & solutions in the customers food production processes within a factory / industrial setting. Other responsibilities include sales process management, sales reporting & analysis, as well as understanding product knowledge on the latest advancements in meat processing & providing training.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in industrial food manufacturing
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Food Engineering
• Strong understanding of meat processing operations and equipment
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Ability to understand and analyse complex customer needs
• Self-motivated, driven to succeed with ability to work independently
• Willing to travel extensively, locally & internationally
• SA citizen with Drivers license & own vehicle
