1. Support the Regions through delivering meaningful & actionable Sales, Market and Business Intelligence
Establish automated tools to deliver key metrics and data to the business
Deliver on routine reporting, Market Share Updates & monthly KPI Dashboard whilst monitoring for noteable changes
Prepare & publish Market Share updates & highlight noteworthy trends
Cross-reference data from the sales force, market studies (internal & external) and marketing in order to have a comprehensive overall understanding of the business
2. Be the Category Custodian & Deliver Category Insights
Manage Category Data (e.g. Global Data, Nielsen, Scanned Sales Data) - Be the domain expert for category data suppliers and tools
Interrogate data to extract key insights to inform sales activities, marketing plans, production development and customer propositions
Interrogate and communicate key Competitor trends & NPD launches
3.Provide support to Marketing and Sales with Key Account Sales Pitches and Marketing Trends/Categories
Using Sales Intelligence, Global Data & Category Insights, support Sales Teams and Marketing with sales pitches & provide NPD Trade Presenters/"Selling Stories" to facilitate sell-in
Track Sales Performance & Market Share Trends to establish traction of BOS Brands in the marketplace, product performance, as well as understanding the impact of specific marketing activities
Track Product performance, particularly New Product Launches to understand drivers to success or failure and rectify or build
Requirements of the Role to achieve focus area:
Reports to achieve the above areas: PNP, Spar, Checkers, WW, Dischem, Clicks, Market Share Report, Volume Tracker , Master Data(19 distributor data points), Distribution & Revenue Tracker,
New Reports needed/added: FLM, Makro, Gauteng MS, KPI Tracker, 3M School Analysis, Export Report, Australia, New Zealand. In Direct Sales( we now track by pack and want to include customer YOY comparison by Qty) , Sales Unit Variance report, Recurring Ad hoc Tasks: New Outlets tracking - could by by channel, product ie forecourts/OOH
Master Data: (New Distributors Added: RTMS, Fournews, Roman Pizza)
Plans for year ahead - create database for direct sales, master data and dashboards for main customers in powerbi
Europe Reports: Carrefour & Franprix; New reports: Weekly taste, Carrefour format stores and Market Share- ROS YTD, Simple Format Carrefour Report.
General increase in ad hoc tasks as business grows: to check ad hoc folder and emails from team for proof ie (Tree planting by customer, Siya, Hot tea analysis etc) Quarter DS review etc
