Sales Consultant - Construction Technology - Cape Town
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction technology provider that partners with contractors to improve accuracy, efficiency, and on-site decision-making through advanced digital solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially sharp sales professional who understands the Cape Town construction landscape and excels at solution-driven selling.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Sales & Territory Growth

  • Manage and grow a defined sales territory across the Western Cape
  • Achieve and exceed agreed revenue targets
  • Identify and develop new business within the construction sector
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
Consultative Solution Selling
  • Engage with contractors to understand site-level challenges and workflows
  • Position tailored technology solutions that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with technical and product specialists on complex opportunities
Client Relationship Management
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships with key clients
  • Maintain consistent face-to-face engagement across the region
  • Ensure high standards of customer experience and post-sale support
Market & Product Engagement
  • Stay informed on construction trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
  • Represent the business at industry events, demonstrations, and client briefings
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline visibility, and sales forecasts
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' B2B technical or solution-based sales experience
  • Exposure to the construction, infrastructure, or related industries
  • Proven ability to win new business and grow key accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working independently with accountability for results
  • Proficient in CRM systems and modern sales tools
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel throughout Cape Town
