About the Role:
We are seeking a Business Development Agronomist to lead and grow our client base, build lasting partnerships, and promote sustainable agricultural solutions. This role blends agronomic knowledge with commercial insight to deliver high-value services to farmers, distributors, and agribusinesses.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agriculture sector.
  • Provide technical support and agronomic advice to customers, helping them improve yields and adopt best practices.
  • Conduct product trials and demonstrate results to support sales strategies.
  • Build relationships with farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align agronomy with product development and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
  • Deliver training sessions and presentations to clients and partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role combining agronomy and sales/business development.
  • Strong understanding of soil, crop, and plant health management.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
