Job Summary
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a relevant Agriculture qualification (B. Sc., B. Agric., B. Tech.)
- BASOS accreditation is essential
- Minimum 2-5 years' sales/technical experience within the plant nutrition industry would be preferred
- Wide crop experience is advantageous
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel when required
- Must be able to work independently
- Providing technical advice to farmers to improve their crops.
- Implementing precision farming practices at farmers to improve their crops and management on the farm.
- Providing fertilizer and irrigation recommendations and developing programs accordingly.
- Visiting farmers, hosting farmers' days, and conducting training.
- Assisting seed growers with production decisions and conducting research trials on nutrition products.
- Performing economic analysis on seed growers' farming enterprises.
