PACKAGING WORLD has a vacancy for an Account Manager (Sales).

Job brief:

We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

Reporting To:

Sales Manager

The successful incumbent will be expected to perform the following duties, not limited to:

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

Matriculation is a standard requirement that must be met Valid Driver's licence Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role Demonstrates ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation Solid experience MS Office (particularly MS Excel), Syspro experience an advantage Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Packaging experience, flexible packaging experience an advantage Ambitious Positive attitude Willing to travel daily

Develop strong relationships with customers Connect with key business members and stakeholders Prepare sales reports Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers and potential customers Collaborate with our Sales Team to achieve budget and targets while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services
