To provide support to the Group HSE Compliance Officer and the wider Compliance department. The role focuses primarily on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance activities, monitoring, and administration, while also assisting with POPIA, Corporate Governance, and general compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Primary HSE Focus:
Provide day-to-day support to the Group HSE Compliance Officer.
Assist with HSE compliance monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
Maintain HSE records, registers, and audit files.
Support training compliance and monitoring across business units.
Assist with incident investigations and reporting.
Follow up on corrective actions and support improvement initiatives.
Secondary Compliance Support:
Assist with POPIA compliance tasks and records management.
Support Corporate Governance documentation and administration.
Maintain compliance files, reports, and dashboards.
Assist with general administrative and project-related tasks within the Compliance team.
Qualifications:
Current student or recent graduate in HSE, Compliance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Previous exposure to compliance or administrative work (advantageous).
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Teams).
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Bonus Points:
