100% remote | R40 000 R60 000 base + performance bonuses + revenue share on closed deals

The Role: SaaS Sales Executive
As the SaaS Sales Executive, you'll drive new business development in the investment industry, working closely with senior stakeholders to identify data and reporting challenges and map them to platform capabilities. Partnering with data engineers and analysts, you'll deliver tailored solutions, manage complex sales cycles, and close new revenue opportunities that support the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead new business development within investment and asset management firms (58 years SaaS sales experience required)
Identify and engage key decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Data
Conduct discovery sessions to understand client data and reporting challenges
Collaborate with technical teams to design and present tailored platform solutions
Manage both long-lead enterprise deals and shorter cycles to successful close
Maintain and report on pipeline performance using CRM tools and defined playbooks
Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation with clear documentation
Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to guide strategic focus
About You
5-8 years of successful B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in financial or data-focused sectors
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Skilled in engaging senior technical and business stakeholders with credibility
Strong understanding of data concepts; able to communicate technical ideas in business terms
Collaborative, organized, and proactive in managing multiple priorities
Comfortable working cross-functionally and remotely within a high-performance culture
Experience with Excel-based or API-driven tools is advantageous
Networks within the investment or asset management industry are a strong plus

Reports to: Director
Compensation: R40 000- R60 000 base + performance bonuses + revenue share on closed deals (paid over 12 months)
Location: 100% remote
