Well established Apparel Retail Brand is looking for a RETAIL SALES ANALYST to join their team in Houghton Estate, Johannesburg. The Retail Sales Analyst will mainly be responsible for interrogation of retail data and report the results internally to the various departments within the organisation.

The Retail Sales Analyst will evaluate and identify trends in sales by analysing industry data. This involves collecting and examining data and using the information gathered to create coherent, intelligent reports, then presenting your reports to your team and to management.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

- Compile and analyse data over time to forecast sales trends

- Communicate with management team regularly

- Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity

- Managing POS systems backend

- Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources

- Present actionable information and insights to team members and management

- Gather and analyse data in order to understand problems and address them proactively

- Collaborate with team members and members of other departments

Minimum Requirements and Qualification:

- Bachelor''s degree in accounting, marketing or finance

- Minimum 4 years in a Retail Sales Analyst role

- Excellent Excel skills

- Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software

- Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills

- Superior oral and written communication skills

- Detail-orientated

- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative

- Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently

- Excellent time management

Salary negotiable depending on experience
