Were Hiring: Retail & Merchandising Manager

Our award-winning lodge is looking for a Retail & Merchandising Manager to oversee our on-site boutique and gallery, showcasing unique African-inspired art, crafts, and designer products to our international clientele.

What Youll Do:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the boutique and gallery, including stock control, visual merchandising, and sales performance.
• Train, motivate, and lead a small sales team to achieve monthly targets.
• Curate product selection in line with brand standards, guest preferences, and seasonal trends.
• Coordinate with local artisans, designers, and suppliers to source unique products.
• Analyse sales data, create reports, and develop strategies to grow revenue.
• Ensure the boutique delivers a five-star guest experience aligned with the lodges luxury brand.

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Merchandising Manager (luxury, lifestyle, or tourism retail preferred).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent sales, communication, and guest engagement abilities.
• A creative eye for visual merchandising and brand presentation.
• Organised, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable living and working in a lodge environment.
