Restuarant Manager
Job Description
A well established Restuarant based in Johannesburg is seeking a Restuarant Manager.Duties:Assist in recruiting, hiring and training all restaurant staff, including servers and hosts
Scheduling employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage and are within the required working hours for the week
Streamlining the restaurant processes to improve the guest experience
Monitoring restaurant finances, including sales targets and management of expenses
Enforcing food handling regulations and other guidelines to increase customer and staff safety
Promoting the restaurant and strategizing on ways to bring in more customers
Handling customer complaints closely with the Floor Manager
Completing necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory and staff log reports
Submitting monthly payroll to the Operations Manager timeously to ensure that staff are paid on time
Analysing stock to ensure that purchases remain within budget
Managing equipment maintenance
Taking accountability of the store as a whole to ensure a smooth operationRequirements:Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum of 2 years as a resturant Manager
Must be well presented
Be able to communication fluently in English
Customer Facing
GAAP
Relevant degree or course (Advantageous)Computer Literacy:
