Job Summary This popular 120 seater RESTAURANT and ARTISAN BREWERY launched in 2021 has become a key attraction and destination on the outskirts of Stellenbosch. Offering a unique tapas style menu, there is always food on the table and the "family style service" attracts both small and large groups. The terrace restaurant on the adjoining cellar floor level offers amazing mountain views with a similar style a la carte menu for all day dining in the shade. ProStaffSelect are in search of a hands-on, highly organised and financially minded Restaurant GM and business manager to oversee daily operations of this big and VERY BUSY operation. Requirements: Strengths in managing and controlling staff Strong knowledge of signature wines, artisan beers and trending alcoholic beverages Proven ability in managing stocks, financial profitability, Budgeting and GP targets Ability to drive, train and motivate quality service standards to ensure exceptional guest experience Highly efficient and up-to-date on Point of Sale and operating Systems Effective and efficient communicator in collaborating joint efforts with the Head Chef and owners Self-motivated to reach personal targets and incentives
