Job Description
Purpose of the Role: To oversee and manage all front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and alignment with the restaurants premium positioning, brand standards and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To
- Managing day-to-day restaurant operations and service standards
- Leading, training and motivating the front-of-house team to deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Ensuring exceptional guest experience and handling guest relations professionally and proactively
- Overseeing reservations, floor management and service flow
- Managing staff scheduling, attendance and performance
- Working closely with the kitchen and senior management to ensure operational alignment
- Maintaining brand standards, presentation and ambience throughout service
- Managing stock, ordering, cost controls and supplier relationships
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and liquor regulations
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant hospitality qualification
- Proven experience as a Senior Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager in an upmarket or fine-dining environment
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong guest relations and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of hospitality operations, cost controls and service excellence
