Job Description

A reputable restaurant in the Sea Point Area requires a Restaurant Manager:
DUTIES:

  • Key Holder
  • Operational Support: Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Restaurant
  • Team Leadership 18 general staff, Head chef and Floor manager
  • Quality and Hygiene Control: Monitor beverage and food quality and Hygiene of the restaurant
  • Inventory & Supply Chain: Help manage inventory processes, supplier relationships
  • Customer Experience: Drive initiatives enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Compliance: Assist ensuring compliance with health, safety, labour regulations
  • Reporting weekly Excell supplied to Ops manager
  • Training & Development: Contribute to training programs for staff development
  • Problem Solving: Provide hands-on support addressing operational challenges
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in restaurant management
  • Experience with GAAP POS
  • Fimilarity with completing reports - weekly excel report will be submitted to Ops manager
  • Previous training experience with service staff beneneficial
  • Managerial experience is essential will be managing 18 staff, 1 floor manager and the Head Chef will all report to successful candidate
  • Organisational Skills: Strong planning, multitasking abilities
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for SA multicultural teams and customers
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for dealing with conflict and mediation skills as
  • Leadership skills critical
