Job Summary Restaurant Manager - Luxury Wine Estate | Franschhoek Salary: R18,000 - R20,000 per month (Negotiable, Dependent on Experience) Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. Key Responsibilities: o Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth workflow. o Manage and lead restaurant staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. o Maintain high standards of food presentation, service, and hygiene throughout the restaurant. o Monitor inventory, stock levels, and control costs effectively. o Develop and implement service procedures and operational standards. o Ensure effective communication between the restaurant, kitchen, and management team. o Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. o Assist in menu planning and the implementation of specials and promotions. o Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Requirements and Skills: o Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment. o Strong leadership and team management skills. o Excellent customer service and communication skills. o Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations. o Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. o Strong organisational and time management abilities. o Professional, presentable, and guest-focused. o South African citizenship or valid work permit.
