Job Summary A busy vibey gastropub and cocktail bar with a with an extensive events calendar over weekends with DJs and live music seeks a high-energy operator who thrives in a busy bar and who meets the following specifications:- o Must have minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience in high volume stand alone restaurants o Previous experience in running shift operations end-to-end in a la carte restaurants including pre-shift briefing, floor leadership, close-down restaurant, cashups o Hosting and guest engagement, managing bookings/walk-ins and table pacing o Management experience in leading front of house staff and overseeing service, pace, attitude, guest experience o Drive sales by upselling o Manage live nights/events and co-ordination with DJ/music etc o Maintain controls: cash-up, voids, comps, SOP compliance, cleanliness, stock awareness o Shift based position which includes late nights + weekends o South African Nationals only 1.
