Job Summary ? ?? is currently partnering with a company who owns a portfolio of restaurants, to recruit an ???? for their new restaurant opening in Cape Town. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Chef to lead the kitchen of an exciting new restaurant concept launching in Cape Town. This role requires a chef who thrives in a high-performance, fast-paced environment and brings both creative flair and disciplined operational oversight. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the kitchen-from menu design and sourcing to team leadership and kitchen systems-with a deep passion for mentorship, training, and developing junior chefs. A hands-on leader with an eye for detail, this individual will ensure exceptional culinary standards while cultivating a positive, collaborative, and learning-driven kitchen culture. Requirements ? Minimum 5 years' experience in a Head or Executive Chef position in an upmarket, high-volume kitchen. ? The ability to mentor and train junior kitchen staff to elevate skill levels, maintain consistency, and promote internal growth. ? Extensive understanding of global flavours, seasonal ingredients, and contemporary presentation. ? Strong financial acumen (costing, wastage control, supplier management). ? Hands-on, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. ? Strong understanding of food costing, kitchen operations, and quality assurance. ? Passion for innovation and the South African dining scene. ? Exceptional communication and leadership skills. ?
