Residential Valuation Associate

Our USA client is seeking a professional Residential Property Valuation Associate who will provide in-depth valuation analyses and appraisal reviews to support their team of underwriters for both bridge and investor loans on residential properties according to underwriting guidelines.

The individual needs to be interested in joining a dynamic and fast-paced Real Estate firm by leveraging their professional appraisal experience, analytical & communications skills. Successful candidates must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, pay attention to details, and to complete tasks under time pressure.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Perform independent analysis and complete internal valuation reports.
• Review, analyse, and reconcile all third-party appraisals and desktop reviews to ensure the methodology, market data, and comps.
• Analyses are reasonable and conform to company underwriting guidelines and industry standards
• Identify and communicate potential valuation risks with underwriters and credit officers
• Conduct online research using Google and other search engines to gather publicly available.
• Obtain information about properties, including but not limited to property history, tax records, assessment information and data verification

• Prior Real Estate brokerage or Investment experience is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and accuracy while displaying a high degree of motivation.
• Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ideally this candidate would have familiarity with US housing valuation of Single Family up to 4 units (ie. 1-4 family) and possible Multifamily valuation.
