Residential Property Administrator & Office Manager

Overview

As a trusted and knowledgeable stakeholder in the property industry, their Sandton / Morningside franchise is looking for an experienced Residential Property Administrator & Office Manager to join them.

Purpose of Role

As a key member of their property management team, you will play an instrumental role in overseeing all the administrative aspects of their diverse real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in residential property administration (including all necessary FICA requirements), excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the sensitivity to work with confidential matters.

Duties

You will be responsible for:

  • ensuring compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations
  • corresponding with both Landlords and Tenants throughout the process once a tenant application is approved by management
  • invoicing tenants on approved applications
  • sending invoices and statements to Landlords
  • answering all email correspondence relating to leased properties
  • attending all training by Head Office and being compliant with their systems
  • loading of property listings supplied by Agents on the Head Office system
  • ensuring compliance with Head Office requirements
  • coordinating Head Office training and ensuring attendance by all Agents
  • preparing and printing of property brochures
  • on approval from management, booking a photographer
  • coordinating lease renewals
  • maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of leases and other relevant documentation
  • filing of all correspondence both electronically and hard copy
  • handling enquiries, concerns and requests promptly and professionally
  • preparing and distributing monthly reports
  • staying informed about local real estate market trends and adjusting strategies accordingly
Skills * Proven working experience (2+ years) as a Residential Property Administrator with an existing real estate business

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Meticulous with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
  • Problem-solving / critical thinking ability
  • Client service oriented and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to learn companyxe2x80x99s property software and systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient
Package

R10-15k CTC depending on skill and experience
