Job Description
Join one of the Cape Winelands' most exclusive luxury destinations as Reservations & Revenue Manager. This pivotal role requires a strategic and service-driven professional to lead the reservations function, optimise revenue performance, and deliver seamless guest experiences across all booking channels.
What You'll Do:
Oversee the reservations department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and personalised guest communication. Manage and motivate a high-performing team, driving service excellence and conversion. Optimise room and suite revenue through effective yield management and rate strategy. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and front-office teams to align pricing, promotions, and availability. Ensure meticulous handling of VIP and special requests, maintaining the highest service standards. Monitor reports, analyse booking patterns, and provide data-driven insights for management decisions. Uphold and enhance brand reputation through consistency, professionalism, and attention to detail.
What You'll Need:
3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury hotel or wine estate. Strong leadership and communication skills with a guest-focused approach. Proven knowledge of revenue management principles and reporting. Proficiency in property management and reservations systems (e.g. Protel Air or similar). Excellent organisational and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail. Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain calm professionalism.
