Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Reservationist to join the team of a Luxury Hotel in Durban. If you have prior knowledge of booking systems such as Opera and a passion for providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply. • Handle reservations and bookings for our establishment.
• Utilize booking systems like Nightsbridge, Protel, Semper, etc., to manage and confirm reservations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Assist with check-ins and check-outs when needed.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated on rates, availability, and promotional offers.
• Provide guests with relevant information about the property, amenities, and local attractions.
• Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Uphold the company's standards and policies in all interactions with guests.
• Perform general administrative tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Reservationist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using booking systems such as Opera, Nightsbridge, Protel, Semper, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Salary Range: R8,500 - R10,000 (depending on experience at the time of hire)
