Reservationist (late shift) - Luxury Hotel Group - Cape TownManage and process reservations through the Opera reservations system.Provide personalized assistance to guests, offering information about room availability, rates, and packages.Ensure accuracy in reservation details and maintain up-to-date information in the system.Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and preferences.Handle inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, delivering exceptional customer service.Collaborate with the front office team to optimize room allocations and maximize occupancy.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.Professional appearance and demeanour.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Reservationist in a luxury hotel environment.Proficiency in using the Opera reservations system is essential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of local attractions and amenities to assist guests effectively.Please send your resume, a smiling profile photo and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience.Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
