Job Summary Key Responsibilities include:

Develop, optimise, and scale up formulations for agricultural inputs, including bio stimulant-based solutions.
Conduct stability testing, compatibility studies, and evaluate raw materials to enhance efficacy and shelf life.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product feasibility, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Perform analytical testing using GC-MS and/or LC-MS and manage formulation documentation to industry standards.
Stay current with emerging technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
Support the quality control team and assist with extraction and analysis as needed.
Drive process improvement, manage lab equipment and consumables, and ensure all health and safety standards are met.
Write scientific reports, manage projects, and maintain organized digital records of all R&D work.

Minimum Requirements:

Honours Degree in Chemistry, Formulation Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field (Masters/PhD advantageous).
Proven hands-on experience with GC-MS and/or LC-MS, and other analytical techniques.
Strong knowledge of agricultural formulations, raw materials, and regulatory requirements.
A track record of innovation, problem-solving, and process improvement in a lab or product development setting.
Excellent scientific writing, technical documentation, and project management skills.
A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Valid drivers license required.
