Job Description

A growing software and services provider is looking for an Implementation Consultant to support clients in automating their financial reporting and planning processes.Youll work with major listed and state-owned organisations, helping to build tailored financial solutions using a specialised reporting and planning tool. This includes designing Excel-based data collection templates, setting up reporting structures, linking data from various systems, and building final outputs like reports and dashboards.Key Responsibilities:

• Build and implement custom financial reporting and planning solutions from scratch.
• Design and configure data templates, group reporting structures, and import processes.
• Manage client relationships post-implementation, providing ongoing support and uncovering opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Assist in internal projects and initiatives as needed.
• Provide regular feedback and reporting to relevant stakeholders.

What Youll Need:

• A Financial Degree (BCom Finance or equivalent), or completed CIMA.
• Strong financial understanding xe2x80x94 able to build an income statement and balance sheet from a trial balance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in:

• A financial role (e.g. FP&A, reporting, financial business analysis) with hands-on responsibility for processes like budgeting, monthly reporting, or management accounts, or
• Implementation/support of reporting software, including template design and data integration.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, conditional formatting, data validation, VLOOKUP, INDEX, charts, etc.).
• Ability to build clean, functional Excel models with external data sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills xe2x80x94 confident presenting and training clients.
• High energy, proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
