Senior Reporting Consultant

Job Description
Were looking for a dynamic and hands-on individual to join a fast-growing software and services business that helps large listed and public organisations automate their reporting and planning processes.
As part of the team, youll help implement and support a powerful consolidation, reporting, and planning software solution used by some of South Africas most prominent companies.What youll do:
- Work closely with clients to automate their reporting and planning processes using our software.
- Build financial reporting and planning applications from the ground up.
- Design data templates in Excel and set up group reporting structures.
- Import data from various source systems and configure analysis tools.
- Design final reports and presentations.
- Manage client accounts post-implementation, including support, training, and identifying new opportunities for improvement.
- A Financial Degree (BCom Finance or equivalent) or completed CIMA.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- At least 5 years of experience in either:
- A financial role (management reporting, FP&A, etc.) that included full responsibility for reporting and planning processes; or
- A role involving the implementation/support of reporting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, conditional formatting, graphs, model building, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with clients.
- Problem-solving ability and a high level of energy and initiative.
