This company operates in several countries across sub-Saharan Africa, including South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zambia. The primary responsibility of this role will be to assist the Reporting Manager in ensuring that all monthly internal and external management reports are completed accurately and distributed timeously. The Reporting Analyst must perform all supporting financial analysis and any ad hoc projects throughout the month that has been requested by the CFO or Head of Finance. This role will also, from time to time, present the management accounts to the Finance Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare the monthly management accounts, quarterly reports, year-end audit pack and annual financial statements.
• Prepare month end journals and accompanying financial reconciliations.
• Prepare all the external stakeholder investor reports.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Regulatory Authorities.
• Assist in managing the year end and interim audit.
• Gain an understanding of the companiesxe2x80x99 software systems and utilise various outputs.
• Assist with presenting the management accounts.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Newly Qualified CA
• 1 year of experience in a financial services industry
• Experience in report writing and analytic skills
• Excellent interpersonal, presenting and communication skills
• Ability to complete and explain variances on reconciliations
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Word capabilities
• Hardworking and willingness to learn
• Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
• Experience in CaseWare
