Were looking for exceptional individuals to join our growing team of Support Centre Officers, who provide vital out-of-hours support to care providers. Whether youre a former care manager, senior carer, team leader, nurse, or someone with strong understanding of how care works this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working from the comfort of your home.
What Youll Do:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from carers, service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage emergency and urgent situations with confidence, common sense, and professionalism.
  • Use and navigate a wide range of care management systems and digital platforms (full training provided).
  • Accurately log issues and coordinate solutions on behalf of our client care providers.
  • Provide calm and reassuring support to elderly, disabled, and vulnerable people often in stressful or sensitive circumstances.
  • Support our UK team during primary hours: 5pm 9am (UK time), MondayFriday, plus 24/7 weekend and British bank holiday coverage.
  • Occasionally assist with daytime tasks such as rota support, back-office admin, and auditing.

What Youll Need:
  • A quiet, private workspace at home, fast fibre internet, a suitable laptop, and a quality headset.
  • Experience in the health or social care sector ideally in a leadership, supervisory, or clinical role.
  • The ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and think clearly and quickly.
  • A professional, clear and friendly phone manner both with care staff and service users.
  • Tech confidence ability to learn new systems, apps, and workflows quickly.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (excellent communication is essential).
  • Willingness to work at least alternate weekends, and ideally more.
  • Proof of tax registration with SARS in South Africa (required for employment).
