You'll manage websites, mobile applications, tracking systems, and automations to ensure seamless customer experiences and accurate data across our five key markets. As the Marketing Technology & Analytics Specialist, you'll ensure Thompson Creek's MarTech stack delivers the insights needed for smarter decisions, stronger campaigns, and elevated customer journeys.




What You'll Do


Technical Infrastructure: Maintain and optimize website and mobile applications for speed, responsiveness,and cross-browser compatibility across all market locations

Tracking & Analytics: Configure and manage GTM, GA4, Facebook Pixel, AdWords tags, Conversions API, and 3rd-party tracking across platformsfor accurate attribution and conversion tracking.



Data Management: Set up geo-specific tracking parameters, custom dimensions, and audience segments; maintain clean taxonomyand naming conventions.

Performance Monitoring: Track site/mobile performance, troubleshoot issues, and ; troubleshoot technical issues and optimize page speed/Core Web Vitals to maintain sub-3 second load times.*


Automation: Manage Zapier workflows and automations for Sales & Marketing teams.*


Implementation Support: Deploy tracking for campaigns, landing pages, and promotions; coordinate with the marketing team on pixel firing and conversion setup.*


Cross-Platform Coordination: Ensure unified tracking across web, mobile, email, and paid advertising platforms for unified customer journey mapping.*


Configure goal tracking for lead forms, phone calls, and quote requests.*


Set up enhanced e-commerce tracking for estimate requests and project values.*


Compliance & Auditing: Maintain privacy compliance; conduct audits of tag firing, attribution, and data accuracy.*


Documentation: Maintain specifications and backup configurations.*




What We're Looking For


Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Math, Computer Science, or related field.*


2-4 years' experience in

marketing technology/digital infrastructure (preferably multi-location businesses).*


Proven expertise with GTM, GA4, Google Analytics, and tracking pixel implementation.*


Experience in website management, mobile app coordination, and CMS platforms.*


Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and basic web development.*


Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and compliance mindset.*


Tech-savviness, including proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Fathom, project management platforms (e.g., Asana), video conferencing software such as Teams, and familiarity with productivity-tracking tools such as Hubstaff, which the company uses.*


Preferred (Nice-to-Have):


Google Analytics/Tag Manager certifications.*


Experience in the home improvement industry.*


Mobile app development exposure.*


Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.*




The Details


Compensation: $20-30 USD per hour

Engagement: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, Independent Contractor


Must be able to work in US EST hours (typically 8 am-5 pm)

Location: Remote
