Job Description
This is an intimate, exclusive-use property, featuring 5 en-suite luxury rooms. Situated on the border with Botswana close to the Kalahari Desert, Madikwe Game Reserve is the fifth-largest game reserve in South Africa. As one of the lesser-known reserves, this hidden gem is regarded as one of the best conservation areas in Africa and offers visitors a Big 5 safari experience over 750km.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in 4/5-star properties
- Own transport and a valid driver's license
- Ability to manage a team and their time effectively
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills
- Outgoing personalities with excellent guest-hosting skills
- FGASA Level 1 (Level 2 preferred) with all guiding qualifications current and paid
- Any trails qualifications are advantageous
- First Aid Level 1
- General maintenance skills and knowledge
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong hosting skills
- Proficient in PAN and MS Office
- Basic administration skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Accommodation and food allowance
- 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off cycle
- 21 days of annual leave
- Uniform
- Provident fund after 3 months
