An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join a leading producer in the metals and manufacturing sector, driving performance improvement and long-term asset sustainability at a major facility (location TBA)

The Role
As Reliability Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining asset integrity, improving plant reliability, and supporting the lifecycle management of critical assets.
You'll advise on maintenance strategies, reliability modelling, and asset care planning - ensuring that safety, quality, and cost efficiency are at the heart of every operational decision.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement asset reliability and integrity systems across plant operations.
Apply Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) principles to new and existing assets.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and identify opportunities for asset performance improvement.
Manage asset risk and obsolescence planning throughout the lifecycle.
Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models to guide maintenance and capital replacement strategies.
Support maintenance teams with technical input, corrective work instructions, and asset care plans.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
4-6 years' experience in reliability or maintenance engineering within heavy industry or mining.
Proficiency in SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
Experience with RCA, FMEA, and analytical improvement methodologies.
Strong understanding of asset performance, risk assessment, and lifecycle cost management.
