To identify, qualify and acquire new corporate, global, and public sector clients, promoting our charge card solutions, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of corporate financial needs.
Job Responsibilities
Identify potential clients through research, networking, internal stakeholder collaboration (CIB) and cold calling.
Prepare an annual sales plan detailing short/long-term targets with supporting activities.
Conduct compelling sales presentations to prospective clients and prepare tender responses.
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate record of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the D365 CRM system.
Capture new applications by collecting and uploading the relevant client supporting documents and application details.
Understand and apply the applicable risk and credit policies to mitigate exposure and manage client expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Manage high priority requests and escalations.
Ensure efficient cost control by working within budget while maintaining output and quality.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to effectively position our charge card solutions.
Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
Achieve operational excellence by supporting the implementation of business optimisation initiatives.
Identify business opportunities within Nedbank divisions by engaging and partnering with relevant stakeholders - CIB, Acquiring, Product
Understand and embrace the Nedbank Vision and Values.
Attend and apply learnings from the relevant training programs.
Contribute to the achievement of Nedbank's transformation goals by participating in culture building initiatives.
Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum Experience Level
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or corporate sales (Essential)
Experience in card issuing or card acceptance, in a sales or account management role (Preferred)
