Medwell SA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the home based care team in Cape Town (Bellville office).

Qualifications Required:

Registered Nurse with Midwifery and interest in community healthcare services Minimum one year experience in ICU and/or Trauma Knowledge and practical experience of the clinical and administrative requirements and procedures that are expected within the remit of a Registered Nurse, including nursing procedures, e.g. Intravenous Infusions (siting and maintaining), wound care, catheterisation. Valid drivers license. Excellent health

Co-ordinate and manage allocated home nursing services in Cape Peninsula. Completing Patient Assessment and Implementation file Reporting & Monitoring Patient Changes Placement and orientation of care workers. Wound Care IV Infusions & Administration Assess common health problems through observation, interaction and measurement Management of ventilator dependent clients Have knowledge with regards to the role and function that is required in the Healthcare practice. (Laws and regulations) On stand-by for any emergency calls during office hours and after hours on-call on rotation basis.
