Job Description


Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Coach to join their team, based in KwaZulu-Natal. Successful candidate will expand the customer base and mentor a team of Sales Representatives as well as ensure the effective performance of this team who are responsible for increasing the awareness and use of the companyxe2x80x99s products to doctors and specialists. Duties to include:- *Coaching of the Sales Team *Support Representatives and Key Account Managers with day-to-day operation *Evaluate customer and individual performances *Report on regional sales results *Identify hiring needs, select and train new Sales Representatives *Deliver the annual budget for the area of responsibility *Analyse regional market trends *Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions *Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition *Suggest new services / products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction *Manage the performance of a team of detail sales representatives to ensure that they increase awareness and use of the companyxe2x80x99s products to doctors and specialists *Set targets with regard to influencing the prescribing habits of doctors and specialists *Monitor and develop individual performance *Conduct field visits with staff to evaluate performance and marketing strategy execution *Analyse data and provide weekly / monthly summaries to Manager *Monitor competitor activity and competitorsxe2x80x99 products *Developing sales and marketing strategies *Plan and implement presentations, events, entertainment to support overall sales objectives *Keep to date with the latest trends and medical trials *Keep abreast of new developments in the Pharmaceutical industry, anticipate potential *Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to key contacts in the Medical sector. Minimum Requirements:- *Matric *BSc / BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field *Medically related or Science Degree will be an advantage *Minimum 5 years' Sales Representative experience *Previous management experience will be an advantage *Experience in Sales and providing solutions based on customer needs *Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels *Excellent organizational skills *Ability in problem-solving and negotiation *Computer literate and able to effectively use Excel and Power Point *Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical market *Good knowledge of medical terms and applications e.g., understanding of anatomy, physiology, disease, and pharmaceutical treatments *Good knowledge and proven application of administration processes, systems, and practices *Driverxe2x80x99s license + own vehicle *May be required to work overtime *Successful candidate must live in the area that he / she is responsible for as weekly meeting attendance with teams are required for this position *Regional Sales Coach will be required to travel 80% of their time calling on customers and coaching Representatives.
