Regional Manager - Cape Region
Location: Cape Town, with travel across the Cape and parts of the Northern Cape
Introduction:
An established leader in the construction materials sector is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager to lead and grow operations in the Cape Region. This strategic role will be based in Cape Town (Portland area) and requires oversight of multiple sites, including commercial and mobile production facilities. Regular travel will be part of the role.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Professional certification in Contracts Management advantageous.
Registration as a candidate with SACPCMP will be beneficial.
Minimum of 5 years' management experience in the Construction/Civil Engineering industry, preferably with asphalt projects.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and leadership skills.
Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
South African citizenship.
Skills & Knowledge:
Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Working knowledge of Civil & Construction Regulations.
Strong industrial relations and staff management capabilities.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and perform under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of multiple commercial and mobile production plants.
Manage staff, subcontractors, and HR-related duties.
Develop and implement cost-effective work strategies.
Ensure high-quality production output to meet demand targets.
Monitor and enhance team performance.
Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
