Responsibilities:

Financial Management Extraordinaire:

• Mastermind the cost-effective allocation and utilization of company resources.
• Be the driving force behind meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
• Take the reins on cost and project management to ensure seamless financial operations.

Business Process Guru:

• Ensure smooth sailing by strictly following set timetables.
• Uphold company policies and departmental procedures with unwavering commitment.
• Navigate through financial policies and compliance regulations like a pro.

Operational Dynamo:

• Be the go-to person for internal and external financial queries and processes.
• Keep a watchful eye on the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy for the region.
• Review and confidently sign off on purchase orders and invoices for the region.
• Embrace flexibility by assisting management with ad-hoc duties.

Project Management Prodigy:

• Safeguard project budgets with a prerequisite of customer purchase orders.
• Champion the completion of projects, from invoicing to sign-off.
• Regularly review ongoing projects for billing completeness and provide insightful commentary.
• Keep a vigilant eye on open sales orders, ensuring prompt billing and tracking work in progress days.
• Become the guardian of project documentation, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company policies.

Creditors and Payments Connoisseur:

• Take charge of reviewing and signing off on purchase orders and invoices.
• Daily follow-ups on approvals for purchase orders and invoices in the region.
• Conduct meticulous reviews of creditor reconciliations.
• Ensure correct allocations for all expenses and compile comprehensive creditors remittances.

Stock and Procurement Proponent:

• Champion the correct allocation of all expenses in stock and procurement.

Fleet Management Expert:

• Maintain accurate fleet allocations in each region.
• Reconcile fleet charges from head office to the number of drivers per location.

Debtors and Invoicing Maestro:

• Keep the project invoicing forecast report accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure sales invoices are compiled within customer timelines.
• Tackle debtors head-on and keep debtors days to a minimum.
• Be the deadline champion for billing cut-offs.

Qualifications and Experience needed:

• BCom degree in accounting
• Project management experience is non-negotiable
• Computer packages: Xero and Sage X3
