Job Purpose:



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Recruitment Specialist

to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and onboarding. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in recruitment and be currently studying towards a Human Resources diploma. This role plays a critical part in supporting the company's talent acquisition strategy and ensuring the right talent is hired efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage the full recruitment life cycle for vacancies across various departments. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements. Create and post job advertisements on internal and external platforms. Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and shortlist candidates. Schedule interviews, gather feedback, and coordinate the hiring process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with company policies and employment legislation. Assist in onboarding and induction processes for new hires. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs. Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and employer branding initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the recruitment process.

Requirements:



Education & Qualifications:



Matric (Grade 12) is essential. Currently studying towards a National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management (NQF Level 6/7).

Experience:



Minimum 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition. Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment software is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple roles simultaneously. High attention to detail and organizational ability. Good understanding of labour laws and recruitment best practices. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.

Desirable:



Exposure to internal recruitment in a corporate or agency environment. Familiarity with psychometric testing and assessment tools. Passion for people development and talent management.
