Purpose of the Job




We are looking for a dynamic recruitment consultant to deliver end-to-end recruitment support across our Medirite, Transpharm, and Red Star divisions. Using the Group Talent Solutions Acquisition framework, you will play a key role in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top talent to meet business goals. In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders and the OE Solutions team to develop and implement effective hiring strategies. Job Objectives



Employee Centric Delivery





Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the designated divisions, including search campaigns, pre-screening, sourcing, selection, induction, and retention initiatives. Collaborate with People Team for Pharmacy and Red Star and business stakeholders to create robust job profiles and establish a strong pipeline of candidates for future needs. Support the recruitment process through sourcing, screening, reference checking, shortlisting, and managing offers for applicants. Oversee the recruitment management, reviewing job profiles, advertising, updating resource plans, and participating in interviews to select suitable candidates. Maintain a comprehensive candidate database to ensure access to a pool of resources for future recruitment needs. Utilize relevant recruitment tools to provide a consistent experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process. Build relationships with recruitment partners, institutions, and vendors to enhance turnaround times and improve overall recruitment outcomes.




People (Self, Team & Organisational)




Engage and align with the People Business Partner to deliver innovative solutions and services to the business. Participate in team initiatives that promote an agile and employee-centric culture, ensuring team members feel supported and valued. Contribute to a culture of wellness and open communication within the team.

Financial, Reporting & BI





Ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting pertinent to recruitment activities. Use official data sources for administrative outputs, assisting with compiling relevant reports for broader People requirements. Consolidate cost-related data as needed for the functional area.

Governance & Compliance





Ensure adherence to relevant labor relations frameworks and legislation. Comply with organizational and legislative governance standards, including health and safety requirements and the POPI Act. Identify and mitigate risks associated with recruitment and administrative functions.




Future-Fit





Collaborate with other service areas to optimize workflows and processes. Recognize opportunities for continuous improvement in recruitment services and suggest relevant technological enhancements.

Qualifications



Essential




Grade 12 National Senior Certificate

Desirable




Diploma in HR, Recruitment, Administration, or a related field.

Experience



Essential




2+ years in a recruitment consulting role, providing staffing services to a business portfolio or within an agency environment.

Desirable




Experience in the FMCG or retail sector.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively build relationships with candidates and stakeholders, facilitating a seamless recruitment process.

Sourcing and Networking Proficiency:

Experience in utilizing various sourcing techniques and networking strategies to attract top talent, including digital platforms, professional associations, and recruitment fairs.

Interviewing and Assessment Expertise:

Skills in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates' skills and cultural fit through effective questioning techniques and assessment methods.

Negotiation and Persuasion Skills:

Ability to negotiate offers and influence candidates' decisions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.

Organizational and Time Management Skills:

Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail to meet deadlines.

Analytical and Decision-Making Skills:

Strong analytical skills to assess candidate qualifications and make informed hiring decisions based on data insights and market trends.

Adaptability and Problem-Solving:

Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and recruitment challenges, coupled with the creativity to develop innovative solutions. Familiarity with Recruitment Technologies: Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software to streamline the hiring process and maintain efficient records.

Knowledge of Employment Legislation and Best Practices:

Understanding of relevant labor laws, regulations, and best practices in recruitment to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
