Our client is seeking a well-organised and professional
Receptionist
who will also provide vital support to their
Internal Sales
team. The ideal candidate will act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient front-desk experience. In addition to reception duties, the role includes assisting with key administrative and sales-related functions such as quotations, order processing, and customer follow-ups. The successful candidate will be service-oriented, detail-driven, and capable of building strong client relationships through both phone and email communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Reception & Front Desk Duties
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Greet and welcome clients and visitors, ensuring a professional front-of-house experience.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area and meeting rooms.

Administrative & Internal Sales Support
Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and promptly.
Capture and process sales orders.
Follow up on outstanding quotations, pending orders, and back orders.
Respond to customer queries regarding products, pricing, stock availability, and order status.
Support sales team with email and telephonic follow-ups to clients and prospects.
Coordinate deliveries and collections in collaboration with the logistics team.
Assist with routine stock takes and inventory coordination.
Perform other general administrative tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
- essential
Minimum 3 years of working experience
in a receptionist or administrative sales support role
Proficient in English
(read, write, and speak)
Computer Literacy
: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Strong
organisational and planning
skills
Excellent

and manage time efficiently in a dynamic office environment
