Preference will be given to Cape Townbased applicants.

What Were Looking For




Were searching for a hospitality professional who leads with warmth, confidence, and precision.

The ideal candidate will have:

A valid South African ID A Matric certificate (Grade 12) Hospitality qualification will be an advantage

Minimum 2 years of Front Office Supervisory or Reception Shift Leader experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanour Confidence in managing guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints with empathy and efficiency Experience with hotel property management systems

(Opera experience)

Strong organisational ability, reliability, and attention to detail Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays A calm and motivating leadership style with a team-first approach

What Youll Do



Lead the front desk team to deliver seamless, welcoming service from check-in to check-out Maintain a professional and efficient lobby atmosphere while managing guest flow and room allocations Handle guest queries and resolve challenges with care and professionalism Mentor, motivate, and develop your team to reflect the service excellence of The President Hotel Collaborate with other departments, housekeeping, concierge, and reservations to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences Maintain high standards of presentation and service in all front office areas Lead by example, setting the tone for professionalism and positivity throughout the team
