Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Raw Material Sampler in Agriculture reporting to the Vegetable Procurement Manager for both the Marble Hall and Highveld area

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Raw Material Sampler is responsible analysing, recording and monitoring on the quality of raw material on the fields and report results to vegetable procurement team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise seasonal samplers
• Drive to farms and take samples as required
• Analyse samples to specification
• Capture samples and report on a daily basis

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 (matric) qualification
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Valid SA driver's License

PERSON SPECIFIC:

• Ability to work productively in a stressful environment
• Willing to work outside of working schedule as and when required including over weekends
• Willing to work away from home at least 4 months of the year
• Must be fully literate and good numeracy skills
