TB HIV Care (THC), in existence since 1929, is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation. Purpose of the position

The radiographer in the PWUD programme will provide a high standard of radiographic chest x-ray imaging including the use of Computer Aided Detection (CAD) systems whilst ensuring that patients receive high quality care. Deliver a high standard of service to relevant stakeholders and to a diversity of patient presentations. Communicate effectively with community and facility-based teams to ensure delivery of high-quality service and linkage to appropriate services.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification in Radiography from College or university Current Registration with HPCSA Must Have a BHF registration to apply for the registration of the DCXR mobile. Minimum of three years' experience as a Radiographer Experience in working with key populations, particularly PWUD beneficial Previous experience using CAD would be advantageous Private Practice Number will be an added advantage Fluent in English and isiXhosa Valid driver's licence and willingness to conduct fieldwork
