Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates from design and tender documents.
Manage all contract documentation and ensure compliance with FIDIC, Joint Venture / Joint Contracting Committee (JVCC) and equivalent contract forms.
Administer contracts from award through to final account, including variations, claims, and extensions of time.
Monitor project costs, forecasting, cash flows, and assist in financial reporting and budgeting.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Site Teams to ensure commercial risks are identified and mitigated.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, negotiate rates, and assist in procurement decisions.
Validate progress claims, site measurements, and verify work done for payment.
Participate in risk assessment meetings and provide commercial input to project analyses.
Support tender & bid teams with cost inputs, pricing strategy and contract terms.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience in quantity surveying, preferably with exposure in drilling, mining, civil engineering or energy sector projects.
Demonstrable experience with FIDIC and JVCC contract forms.
Experience in large-scale, multi-discipline projects with high technical content.
