Quality Assurance Supervisor Manufacturing
Northern Suburbs, Cape Town - Western Cape - South Africa
We seek an experienced and hands-on Quality Control Supervisor to lead a large QC team in a high-performance, GMP-compliant factory setting. This key leadership role requires the ability to inspire, coach, and discipline a cross-functional team while ensuring all quality operations are aligned with ISO, GMP, and internal compliance standards. You will supervise analysts, technicians, samplers, and administrators, ensuring robust quality control practices throughout raw materials, packaging, and finished product stages.
Ideal candidates are experienced in leading teams and fostering collaboration and are fully comfortable working in a factory setting with strict GMP protocols.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies
- Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field
- 5+ years analytical lab experience in pharmaceutical or beauty manufacturing
- Minimum 12 years in a supervisory role
- Deep understanding of GMP, GLP, and ISO standards
- HPLC experience (advantageous)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Syspro experience with BOM and item code creation (preferred)
