Our client is seeking a Qualified Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic with specialized experience in the building and assembly of cabs for heavy earthmoving machinery. This is a hands-on role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong mechanical background and a passion for precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install cabs on heavy earthmoving machines according to technical specifications.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to cab systems.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to improve cab design and assembly processes.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic or equivalent.
- Proven experience in cab assembly for heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own reliable transport (preferred).
